you’re on a streak of no sexual release your body is kind of in absence mode your body and mind know that it’s not time for sexual release and it’s cuz that door is closed that possibility is closed it’s easy to keep it shut or at least easier but once you open that door either through sexual release with a partner or through a masturbatory experience it’s harder to shut that door again you know once it’s open you’ve allowed that possibility back into your life and mentally you can rationalize well I I orgasmed the one time what’s a couple more times or one more time and also physically I believe that our body kind of goes into that procreation mode where it’s it’s like okay got sexual release time let’s take advantage of it and go for it that’s what we call the Chaser effect and it can be the downfall to a lot of good streaks even after having you know healthy sex with a partner that libido is jacked up for a few days and it can lead to a relapse after these 3 to 4 days ofo masturbation in orgasm once per day the magic is gone I still can achieve an erection but I lost my libido again I did not watch porn and I do not have a temptation to watch at all why is it like this I thought masturbation is okay well masturbation isn’t inherently bad but it is linked to that P of behavior that you are trying to get away from the porn addiction it’s like all right imagine you have this space on your hand here that feels really good to rub it so you rub it once in a while as as a kid or whenever when you hit puure you realize the spot in your hand feels good so you start to rub it and you know you do that once in a while it’s no big deal but then you kind of discover that it feels good to have bit more stimulation so you use some sandpaper you start using sandpaper and met metaphorically this sandpaper is the porn okay so you start rubbing that area with sandpaper you know a couple times a day every day it gets a little red from time to time but for a while it’s no big deal but you know after years of rubbing that area with some sandpaper it starts to have some you know open source it’s it’s wounded it’s oozing pus and you’ve damaged yourself and desensitized it’s like all callous and shit it’s really ugly and you you realize oh shit like using this sandpaper on my skin every day is probably bad for me and that’s what the porn has done except to your brain it’s desensitized your brain it’s rewired your sexuality to porn rather than to real intimate experiences so you take away the Sandpaper you decide okay I’m going to let this wound heal you know it’s it’s not looking good it’s going to take a while at this point so you’re just letting it be you’re letting it heal letting new skin grow and you do this for a few weeks but then you kind of start to miss the sensation of rubbing that area so you masturbate or whatever and you rub in that area again scratching it and not using sandpaper and normally it would be fine just to rub that area but since it’s still wounded still healing by irritating it you’re slowing down you’re delaying that healing process and the same thing happens with our sexual response system it’s resensitizing and by masturbating by getting sexual release you might be interrupting that process and setting yourself back even though masturbation normally wouldn’t do this to you because you’re in that healing process it is setting you back you say now I am starting a new streak and will not masturbate at all good plan a lot of guys can reintroduce masturbation in a healthy way after they’ve fully recovered from whatever porn induced symptoms they had so after you’re you have no more complaints of P induced erectile dysfunction or desensitization you’re having wonderful sex with your partner then you might be able to reintroduce masturbation in a healthy way but until then I’d advise not doing it but if at some point I start a relationship will my libido and boner also disappear after several times having sex some guys do experience that they find that any any orgasm even one with a partner can set them back into a flatline or into having no libido and a lot of guys find that orgasm with the partner feels very different than orgasm through masturbation and that it’s actually good for their rewiring process but some guys do find that after orgasming in any fashion it sets them back and there is
